Obituary for Billy Joe Osborn

Billy Joe Osborn, age 82 of Nashville, Ar. Passed away, Thursday, October 27, 2011 in Nashville. He was born October 26, 1929 in Earlsboro, Oklahoma to the late Quinn E. Osborn and Ella Johnston.

He was a retired heavy equipment operator and an Army veteran of WWII. He greatly loved his children, and grandchildren. He was a kind, loving and giving to one and all. He worked on road construction until the age of 81. He loved running heavy equipment, fishing, camping, and being with his friends, and church family. He will be missed by his little “boss” dog, Susie. Mr. Osborn was considered a jack of all trades. He went into the Army at age 17 and was in the Military Police where he served in Germany in WWII. He was also a faithful member of the Mineral Springs Church of Christ.

He leaves behind his wife Lynda Young Osborn, 2 sons: Quinn ( Annette )Osborn, David Osborn. Daughters, Lisa Stapp, Kim Rogers Johnson ( Johnny K.), Tamera Rogers Chafin.
Siblings, Opal Hobbs and Jewel Deal.
Grandchildren: Joey Osborn, Cody and Jon Stapp, Lane Radamaker, Cason Johnson, Paige Johnson, Brittany Neal, Makenna Chafin ( he called peanut). Great Grandchildren, Lexi and Will Neal.
