I worked for 14 years with Beaner and he was always the favorite guy to work with and have a lunch or coffee break with. NO ONE could tell a story like Beaner. Even after hearing the same stories many times it was always a pleasure to hear them again as he told them to some new employee. I had the unique pleasure and responsibility to take over Beaner's job when he retired from the county in 1993. We ran an excavator and Beaner was known far and and wide as "the best" there was at his job. No one since, myself included has ever taken his place as the Best. Beaner, you will be missed.
