Condolences

Condolence From: Bill Hathorne
Condolence: Dear Marcia,

I was sorry to hear about your father, but I had a pleasant conversation with your mother last Sunday with the help of your Uncle Don on her end. When I was in Maine a year ago, my mother and I had a great visit with both of your parents. In fact, I gave to your father a chart of how we are all related with a copy for him to give to you. As you know, he and my mother were second cousins which makes you and me third cousins.

I am sure you realize that your father's "last function" at the church was serving as a pallbearer at my father's funeral, and your mother's "last function" was when I escorted her down the aisle. We were so appreciative of your escorting my mother. My mother was very pleased and honored that they could both attend her birthday party last spring--the last time together at the church. How fitting!

I have great memories of your father, going back to when I was very young, and your living on Whitney Street with Pom Pom. My regards to all.

Condolence: Dot and Marcia (and familY)
Sympathy from my mother and I on Clarence's death. There are many memories as I think back over his life. He served as best man at my parent's wedding as well as a friend to my father as they grew up.
I also think of his friendliness to all of us at church over the many years.
May you also have happy memories of this great guy.
