MICHAEL T. STROPKI, age 88. Beloved husband of the late Edythe (nee Hagara). Loving father of Michael (wife Karen), Thomas, Dennis, Leslie, John, Sharon Morin, Marie Lonis and the late Renee MD. Devoted grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of 4. Cherished son of the late Michael Thomas and Susan (nee Sabol) Stropki. Dearest brother of Ann “Honey” Stropki, Mildred Rastatter and the late John Stropki and Mary Stelter. Dear uncle and great-uncle of many. Loving companion of canine friend Willie.

A retired truck driver, Michael enjoyed bowling, bingo, slot machines, traveling, woodworking and playing cards. His family remembers him as a great guy who was loving and generous and happy to share his love of Polka music. Mike was a US Navy Veteran who served on the USS Missouri during World War II.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 24, 2012 at St Gregory the Great Catholic Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish 9:30 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mike at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) THURSDAY 2-4 and 6-8 PM
