Eugene T. Quinn, “Gene” of Brewster, NY, passed away June 3rd, 2012 surrounded by his family after fighting a long and courageous battle against esophageal cancer. Gene was born in New York City on Sept. 11, 1955 to Gene and Rosaleen (McMahon) Quinn. On Oct. 11, 1980, Gene married the love of his life Trish O’Reilly in Riverdale, NY.

Gene graduated from Tolentine High School in Bronx, NY and later received a Bachelor of Science degree from Le Moyne College. He was employed by Buck Consultants of New York City as a Director in Global Technology and Delivery Solutions.

Cape Cod was a special place for Gene and Trish where they spent time with their family and friends at the bay. One of Gene’s favorite things was his passion for cooking! But, most of all, he will be remembered for his love and devotion to his family and friends.

Gene is survived by his beloved wife Trish, his two loving children, Ashley Quinn of Boston, MA and Kieran Quinn of Brewster, NY; his mother, Rosaleen Quinn, brother Brian Quinn and sister Mary Pat (Tommy) Ciarletta. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Joan O’Reilly, his brother-in-law Jim (Margie) O’Reilly; and his cherished nieces and nephews-Dylan, Tracey, Shea, Tara and Kristen . And we can’t forget Buddy, the family dog. Gene was pre-deceased by his father Gene Quinn and father-in-law Jay O’Reilly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Msgr. Liam Quinn on Friday, June 8th at 11am at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, Brewster, NY. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
