Condolence: May you find comfort in the fond memories of him and may God give you all the strength to endure this time of sorrow. Remember and rejoice in God's promises in the scriptures to obedient mankind who have fallen asleep in death at Acts 24:15, there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous. Condolence: Jody Rogers was a popular man in the Curington household. My Dad, Jim Curington, thought the world of him. I have very fond memories of him and Dad coaching my brother Phil's baseball team. Jody was not only a great coach because of his baseball knowledge but was a good role model for the kids. I had the privilege of talking to him before he got so ill, and we relived the year their team won the championship against great odds. He chuckled at how they were "not supposed to win." When my brother passed away Jody showed great compassion. He was a good man, honest and unpretentious. It was a honor to have known him. He will be missed. May God Bless you all and comfort you as He alone can.

Condolence: Jody was a very good friend of mine, he was also a good friend of my Dads, Floyd Hatley, and it was through Jody that I was able to go back in time and remember alot of good times that the three of had in together over the past years. I just wish I had taken the time to drop by and visit with him more than I did. Jody was fair, honest and a man of his word, just an all round good person and friend. He loved a good joke and loved to tell too. I wil miss Jody as I have missed my own Dad. He is now in the hands of the best care giver the world has ever known, no more pain, no fear, only peace, happiness and enough love to fill the universe a thousand times over. Trust me when I say this to the Family, I feel your pain as I felt it when I lost Pop, if any of you,Barbra, Vicky, Brenda or Mike need anything, please do not hesitate to call. I love you guys, BC.

Condolence: I have known Jody all of my life. I started school with Vicky, Brenda, & Mike. My kinfolks lived around the block from them & I went to church right across the street from their house in my teen years. Needless to say, Jody was well liked by all that knew him. He always had a smile on his face & nearly a whole bag of tobacco stuffed in his jaw. God Bless his family & heaven has surely gained an angel.
