Lovey Damel Thomason, 93, of Glenville, West Virginia formerly of Weston passed away on Friday, August 10, 2012 in the Glenville Care and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. She was born on January 25, 1919 daughter of the late: Henry Richard Thomason and Amanda Ellen (Tenney) Thomason. Mrs. Thomason was preceded in death by one brother Darley Thomason, one sister Lola Green, one infant brother, one infant sister, two grandchildren Kenneth Darrell Moss II and Steven Wayne Frazee, and two great-grandchildren Tesla Gibson, and Sheamus Jackson.
Mrs. Thomason is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by three daughters Vera Lipscomb of Hamilton, Carol Moss of Weston, Flora Belle Hamric & (John) of Normantown one son Harley Thomason & (Kay) of Cassidy, WV. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren Diane Elter & Fiancé (Charlie), Rick Thomason & (Tammy), Cindy Gibson & (Chuck), Rex Thomason & (Tina), Kathy Phillips & (Neil), Robbie Hamric & (Jennifer), Andy Hamric & (Danielle), Amanda Jackson & (Tom), Jennifer Dichoso & (David), Aimee Clevenger, Jessica Shuman & Fiancé (Greg), Timmy Moss & (Angela), and she is survived by 26 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Thomason was Methodist by faith her favorite joy was spending time with her family and friends. She had many passions she enjoyed Crocheting, Crossword puzzles, gardening, walking with her family, and riding four-wheeler. Mrs. Thomason will be greatly missed by all.
Family will receive friends at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 North Main Avenue, Weston on Monday, August 13, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 Noon. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 12:00 Noon from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ralph Miller officiating.
