Amelia A. Ciavarella, age 74, of West Haven passed away on October 12, 2012. Devoted wife for the past 47 years of Leonard Ciavarella Sr. Born in New Haven, daughter of the late Salvatore and Rachel Lucibello Formica. Loving mother of Sheila (Daniel) Murray of Guilford, Leonard (Lisa) Ciavarella Jr. of Bethany, and Lynn Ciavarella of West Haven, cherished grandmother of Ethan, Jared, Lenny III, Vincent, and Anthony, and adoring sister of Katherine Iannucci of Wallingford and brother Rocco Formica of Woodbridge. She was predeceased by her close family friend Eddie Sullivan. Amelia was the owner/operator of Amelia, Lynn, and Lenny’s Restaurant for over 19 years.
The hours for visitation will be MONDAY from 5-8pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green, with a funeral service at 7pm. Donations may be made in Amelia’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter 2075 Silas Dean Hwy, Suite 100 Rocky Hill, CT. 06067.
