Stephanie Lynn Wilder Deasy, 43, of Lynchburg died on Monday, December 24, 2012. She was the wife of Derek J. Deasy and mother of Ryan and Brenden.

Born in Lynchburg on October 25, 1969, she was a daughter of Florence Zupnik Wilder of Lynchburg and the late Malcolm E. Wilder. She is also survived by a sister, Jody Rook and her husband, Robert and their children, Lindsey and Erin, and also the Deasy family in Ireland.

Stephanie was a wonderful mother who cared for and loved her children very much and was an aerobics coordinator at the YMCA.

Our family wishes to extend a special thank-you to Dr. Kathleen Paul for her care and support and a very, very special thank-you to Stephanie’s Angels: Tracey White, Marcy Jones, Kathy Thomas and Carol Barker.

A celebration of Stephanie’s life will be held at a later date.
