Condolence: I have such fond memories of Glauco, he inspired me during my early cycling years with the racing club here in St. Catharines. I remember him encouraging me on to the finish line when I did my first grape and wine mountain bike race starting and ending in Montibello Park. His love and passion for cycling will always be cherished.

Condolence: I was saddened to hear of Glauco's passing. The FUTURE of cycling will miss him deeply for no man worked harder to ensure the tradition of competative cycling is carried on by our youth.

Condolence: I met Glauco when my late husband Bill and I first moved to Niagara in 1990 from Saskatchewan. We were keen to find cycling enthusiasts. Though we were of the recreational type of cyclist Glauco was ready to help us in any way he could. He was a great supporter of our efforts to start up the Niagara Freewheelers Bicycling Touring Club Inc. as a counterpart to the local racing club and indeed some racers have retired to be very spirited recreational cyclists. His kindness extended to doing a number of bicycle skill building workshops for our club members. How fortunate we were to have known Glauco. His legacy lives on within all of us who have a passion for cycling.
