Anthony J. Forlenza, age 81, died on March 6, 2013 in the Bronx, NY. He was born on June 15, 1931 to Daniel and Mary Forlenza (nee Strangers) in the Bronx, NY. Anthony graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School and from Fordham University. He was a graphic artist and worked in the advertising industry. Anthony was employed by Ogilvy & Mather in New York City for twenty five years and retired as the Art Director.
Anthony Forlenza was the happiest man around. He was always telling jokes and loved to impersonate Jimmy Durante. He was kind and gentle and always found good in people.
On June 29, 1991 Anthony married his loving wife Olga Di Domenico. He is survived by his wife Olga, his nephews and nieces Linda and Butch Clemente of Tarrytown, NY, Walter Ganz of Long Beach, NY, Lisa Manfro, Laurie and Shawn McCaffrey of Bethpage, NY. Anthony is also survived by his grandnephews and grandnieces Melinda Clemente, Jamie, Danielle, Jessie, Ashley McCaffrey, Samantha and Robbie DiDio, Michael Ganz, and Joseph Ganz.
Visitation will be held at John J. Fox & Sons, Inc. on Friday March 8, 2013 from 2-5 & 7-9 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday March 9, 2013 at St. Philip Neri Church at 10 AM.
