Obituary for K. Warren Strachan

K. Warren  Strachan
K. Warren Strachan was born on March 24, 1959 to Carl and Ivy Strachan. He was the second child.

Warren attended Public School 138 in the Bronx. Afterwards upon moving to 228th Street in the Bronx,
he attended another public school and excelled tremendously that his teacher recommended that he attend Mount St. Michael Junior High School, where he maintained a 4.0 GPA and received many awards for his outstanding intellect ability.

His next stop was attending Holy Cross High School where he maintained an extremely high grade point average. Due to his commitment and ambition he applied to attend Ivy League colleges such as Harvard, Cornell, Stanford and the Naval Academy in Annapolis. He chose to attend Cornell with a full ride scholarship and still maintained and exhibited extreme brilliance in everything he did, including jobs and special clubs such as Forensics and exhibited a high capacity of intelligence. While there he accepted an Air Force ROTC Scholarship in order to follow his sister, Carlette into the Air Force. He and his sister did everything together and his friends were her friends, they were extremely close.

He entered the Air Force active duty as an Officer, at the rank of Second Lieutenant and attended training as a Navigator. After a short period, decided to enlist into the United States Marine Corps and still strived to excel. He served a period from 1981 to 1985 in the United States Military. As a civilian, he worked as a Financial Consultant, Film Maker and various occupations.

K. Warren leaves behind his mother Ivy; sister Carlette; brother Lamar; nieces Tamika Selyne; nephew Gavin; many cousins and friends.

He will be sadly missed but he leaves his smile, laughter and joy
