Frances "Dolly" Imbrogno

Frances "Dolly" Imbrogno, 92, formerly of 113 Oak Street, passed away Thursday (March 28, 2013) at the Lutheran Home at Kane where she was a resident.
Born February 19, 1921, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Mary Nicolazzo Cappello. On August 24, 1940, in Kane, she married Joseph Imbrogno who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Imbrogno, a homemaker, was a member of St. Callistus Catholic Church and belonged to the former Altar Rosary Society. She also was a member of the AARP.
After graduation from Kane High School, she worked at the former Shirt Factory, The Moose Club and at the Market Basket Deli.
Surviving are a daughter, Judge Cynthia (Doug) Imbrogno-Atwood of Spokane, WA; four sons, Dr.Roger B. Imbrogno of Merced, CA, Paul L. (Colleen) Imbrogno of Latrobe, Patrick M. (Denise) Imbrogno of Moon Twp., and Basil R. (Francene) Imbrogno of Kane; a daughter-in-law, Shawna Imbrogno of Kane; eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Phillip J. Imbrogno; three brothers, John Cappello, Basil Cappello and Joseph Cappello; and a sister, Lucille Orzetti.
Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00am Tuesday at St. Callistus Church with the Rev. Philip Pinczewski, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at St. Callistus Cemetery.
