I miss you Dad and wish you were here!! Ian will learn how wonderful and caring you were. You have so many people who love and miss you. God Bless you Dad XXX
I figured I'd light my candle when I could come to this site without crying, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen any time soon, so here is it. My uncle John was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, brother, great grandfather, and friend. He was always so kind and he's be right there to make you laugh before you even knew you needed it. He is and will continue to be loved and very sorely missed by everyone who knew him.
John, your generosity and kindness lives on in our hearts. Who knows where our family would be today if it weren't for your presence in our lives so many years ago. The gates of St. Peter are standing wide open ready to receive such a wonderful man, and there are at least two angels at the head of the receiving line that are glad to see you; their names are Tom and Theresa. God bless you, and our love and prayers to Marge, Margie, John, and Kathy.
Dear John,
Although you are not my biological Father, you were always a Father to me.
I have so many fond memories of our families spending time together whether it be a BBQ and softball game behind the shop, trips to the mountain house, turkey shoots, and always Christmas Eve belly up at the bar talking story between you and my Dad, tormenting his brother Joe. Oh, so many great laughs.
You will truly be missed; however,in my heart forever.
May GOD bless you and your family.
John and Marge McShane and all of their family were always family to us when we were growing up and still are very good to all us, the Dunn and Hutchinson Families. Great memories, and lots of laughs, and stories to share..nothing like good, old fashion-ed fun!! Our hearts and prayers go out to all of you, John will be missed so much, but never ever forgotten. May he live on in all of our sweet memories, and make you smile. That's what John would've wanted, for us to "celebrate" his legacy. What a man, sweet, gentle and kind, and his hysterical sense of humor, he was just so quick with a joke, or giggle...he always made me laugh even at something so simple, just his smirk..he was always thinking of the next joke or story to tell yah..we will truely miss him, but he'll always live inside our hearts. Rest in peace "Uncle John", you were a very special man xox
