Obituary for LaVerne F. Vincent

LaVerne F. Vincent, 80, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Dickinson County Hospital, Iron Mountain.
She was born January 15, 1933, in Kingsford, Mich. daughter of the late Earl and Christine (Peronto) Schuls. She grew up in Kingsford and attended school there. LaVerne married William C. Vincent on November 2, 1962, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Iron Mountain. He preceded her in death in 1983.
LaVerne worked for General Controls and Romagnoli’s Restaurant in her younger years. She enjoyed her flower garden and was a great homemaker and cook. She will be missed by her numerous friends and especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandson.
Survivors include, two sons, William P. Vincent, Robert L. Vincent; one daughter, Paula (Frank) Anatra; one brother, Leo (Nancy) Schuls, all of Iron Mountain; seven grandchildren, Kristle, Maria, Monica, Catlin, Brad, Johnny, Frankie and one great-grandson, Connor.
Besides her parents and husband, LaVerne was preceded in death by two sisters, Bernice Eisold and Beatrice Bryngelson.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, at Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain.
