Annie Kahiilani Kaniho, 78, of Lahaina, passed away on September 2, 2013 at home in Kihei with Hospice Care and family. She was born in Puunene, Maui on January 27, 1935. She also lived in Waikoloa on the Big Island.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2013, at Ballard Family Mortuary, service will begin at 7:00 p.m., cremation to follow.
Annie retired from the Royal Lahaina Hotel.
She is survived by her sons, Chris Kaniho, Michael (Teresa) Kaniho, Kenneth (Zelie) Kaniho; daughters, VergieAnn (Robert) McIntosh, Florence (Peter) Poasi; daughter in law, Patty Kaniho; brothers, Kaliko (Esther) Naeole, Earl “Leroy” (ElaMae) Naeole, Herman (Irene) Naeole; sister in law, Stella Padilla; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchilidren and 3 on the way, numerous nieces, nephews and family.
She is predeceased by her mother and father, Ernest and Annie Naeole; husband, William “Kane” Kaniho; son, William “Billy” Kaniho; brothers, Ernest Naeole Jr., Kenneth Naeole, David “Mailani” Naeole and Harold Padilla
