Age 59. Suddenly Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at his late residence. Born in Joliet, the son of the late Francis Jr. and Mary (Adelmann) Hoyt, he was a lifelong resident. Graduate of Joliet West High School. Owner of Hoyt Bros. Trucking Inc. since 1974. Member of Joliet Moose Lodge #300 and the Dale A.C. Butch and his company sponsored Midwest Top Sportsman Association. He also supported many organizations including the Fraternal Order of Police and the Will County Sheriff's Association. A drag racing enthusiast and an avid Bears fan.

Survived by his brother, Raymond (Gina) Hoyt of Minooka; his niece, Shelby Hoyt; his mother, Mary of Crest Hill ; numerous cousins and many, many friends.

Preceded by three uncles, Robert Hoyt, Richard Hoyt and Norbert Adelmann.
