Obituary for Raymond L Macoubrie

Raymond L. Macoubrie, age 86, Louisburg, Kansas passed away on Friday September 13, 2013. He was born in Burlington, Kansas on February 12, 1927 the son of George and Ada Boyer Macoubrie. He worked as a carpenter, steel worker, and laborer. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. Ray''s passion was his family and rodeo in which he competed for many years as a calf and team roper. He was preceded in death by two sons, Bobby and Jesse Macoubrie, two brothers, George and Francis Macoubrie, two son in laws, two wives, one granddaughter, and one great grandson. He is survived by two sons, Raymond Jr and Joseph Macoubrie, five daughters: Cindy Henry, Cathy Drake, Donna Koechner Annette Macoubrie and Stacy Adams, three sisters: Della Lou Hinkel, Lucille Peck, and Maragaret Ann Martinets, eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren with two on the way, and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday September 17, 2013 at theSchneider Funeral Home and Crematory, LaCygne Chapel. Burial will be in the Miami Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Monday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to CYRA(Christian Youth Rodeo Association), c/o Schneider Funeral Home, P.O.
