Kenneth Gale Olson, born November 11, 1920 to Albert Lewis and Zoe Leota (Shannon) Olson at his parent’s home in Shelby County, Iowa; passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013, aged 92.

Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Selma Elaine (Wiese) Olson, his parents, and two sisters, Stella Louise (Olson) Gual, and Twyla Olson who died in infancy.

He is survived by four daughters, Judie Larsen and her husband, Matt, of Plano, TX, Barbara Payne and her husband, Richard, of Edmond, OK, Jane Carter and her husband, Wendell Glen, of San Antonio, TX, and Kaye Duncan and her husband, Dan, of Stillwater, OK; three grandsons, Robert Duncan and his wife, Mica, of Edmond, OK, David Duncan of Tulsa, OK, and Christopher Carter of San Antonio, TX; three great grand children, Max, Adlee and Ramey Duncan of Edmond, OK; and a nephew, Jim Gaul of Michigan.

The family will greet friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Strode Funeral Home. Funeral services and celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in Strode Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ron Keeling officiating with Good Shepherd Hospice. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
