Joe worked for many years helping the United States Army destroy chemical weapons made during the Cold War. He came to Umatilla Chemical Agent Disposal Facility (UMCDF) in January 2000 after working several years in Operations Support on Johnston Island. Joe enjoyed golfing, skiing, sailing, and flying his Ultra-Light, and most of all he loved being surrounded by his Family and friends.
He was a very giving person and would give the shirt off his back to anyone who would ask. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

The world has lost a great man, friend, brother and husband. Until we meet again I hope you enjoy finding us the best place to golf when we see you on the other side my friend. You had so many friends who will never forget you “Gonzo”.
