Condolence: From one heart to another I just wanted you to know that this Man has touched my heart. His bravery. His selflessness. That he felt so close to God that he was brave enough to let go. In reading the tragic events of Tims story, his testimony... it has changed me. I will hug my kids a little harder. I will work harder at loving my neighbours. I will try just a little bit harder to be a better person from the inside out. He has reminded me that God is ever faithful and always keeps his promises. Death is not so scary when you know that such amazing people have gone before you... I thank you for his life. I thank you for this story. I will have you in my prayers. Much love to his family and friends. From thousands of miles away I hope you feel the love from so many that didnt know you or of you before this accident. Heaven is a better place knowing people like Tim are there. May God bless you all during this very hard time.

Condolence From: Mary Ibarra
Condolence: To Mrs. Bowers and the family of Tim Bowers: Please forgive my intrusion at such a precious and private time. I wanted to express my deepest sympathy and sincerest respect to you and Tim for your truly selfless, incredibly generous gift to him and, in return, his unending love and devotion to you. Fate was tragic but his life was not. His decision reflects a man whose life was well-lived - he invested 32 years to become a graceful, mature, content person. We all want more time with the ones we love, but when one has lived so successfully, time cannot improve perfection. His child will be blessed by a family who loved enough to honor that life despite their own exquisite sorrow. You will revisit your decision many times in the years to come - I pray that each time you do, it is with a sense of utmost pride and the knowledge that Tim's life was revered. May we all be blessed to be loved so much.

Condolence From: Mary S.
Condolence: To the family of Tim Bowers, I just read your story on CNN. I am so sorry this happened to your family. On 10/23 my husband fell 15 feet off a ladder and has been hospitalized since with a back broken in 4 places and a brain bleed. We have a young son also, and his birthday was Sunday. We have a Living Will and neither of us would want life support. My husband is so blessed to not have become paralyzed but this process of healing is brutal and so hard on our family emotionally, logistically, and financially. He and I would have made the same decision to end life support had he or I become paralyzed. I see how hard this is on my son (and my husband and myself)but if my husband had been paralyzed it would be a whole different realm and would not be a way he or I would want to live or want our son to have to deal with. Your family will survive this and Tim Bowers is most definitely in Heaven now. Bless your family and your new baby on the way and may God give you peace as you made the right decision. We almost had to make the same decision on 10/23 but for some reason just missed that.
