Obituary for Geraldine Hope Voss
Geraldine Hope Voss lived and loved well for 89 years before her passing on Monday, Dec. 9 at her home in Arlington.
Services will be held at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway at 2 p.m. Saturday with a Celebration of Life immediately following at the Pantego Lions Club. Family and friends will gather for Texas barbeque brisket, story- telling and honoring Gerri’s wonderful dance on this Earth!
Optional: Burial service will be at Moore Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pantego Lions Club, 3535 Marathon St. Pantego, TX 76013. This organization supports numerous charities serving children, the elderly and others in the Arlington area.
“Grandma Gerri” was beloved by many and she found her greatest pleasure being with family and friends. Let us honor her with joy and love in our hearts!
She is survived by her son, Mark Voss and wife, Lisa; daughters Terry Voss Freeman and husband, Terry and Karen Voss Cushman; sisters, Doris Nelms, Dorothy Stroman and Barbara Grounds; grandchildren, Bree Guthrie McCaffrey and husband, John, Olivia Hope and Chloe Elizabeth Voss; great grandchildren, Macyn Hope and Miller Holden McCaffrey.
