Edith May Evans of Somerset, Manitoba passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at the Lorne Memorial Hospital in Swan Lake, MB at the age of 78 years. Left to mourn Edith’s passing are her beloved husband Roy of Somerset, MB, Sons Ken (Trish) of Grande Prairie, AB, Jim (Yvonne) and Dale (Rhonda), both of Somerset, MB, Glen (Shannon) of Oak Bank, MB, Wayne (Sandra) of Somerset, MB and David of Calgary, AB, daughters Connie (Aimé) Brunet of Ile Des Chenes, MB, Catherine (Al) Leitao and Nancy (Keith) McLennan, both of Winnipeg, MB, Janice (Jody) Lyne of Grande Prairie, AB and Barbara Evans (Neil) of Fort St. John, BC. As well as 36 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Edith was pre-deceased by her parents James and Dora (nee Loney) Phair and her son Barry. A celebration of Edith's life will be held on Tuesday, November 29th, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Swan Lake, MB. Rev. Allison Halstead officiating.
