Condolence: I never called her Opal or even Mrs Hammons. I always called her mom. She was the mother of one of my closest friends Lynda. When I greeted her with "Hello Mom" she lit up. Her smile was contagious. She always reached out her arms to hug me. She collected frogs like me, and I thought that was just awesome. Silly kindred spirits we were. Her daughters Lynda and Karen sure did take good care of their mother in her last days. I admire them for their love and care of their precious mother. My heart goes out to them and all of the family at this time. I pray that you will be comforted with the knowledge that she is now dancing with the angels.

Condolence: To our sister: You left a part of you with us when you said goodbye. We will always remember you smiling face when we were together, and the happy times we shared. You will never be forgotten!!
To her children and grandchildren: We ask God to give you comfort and joy in the days ahead. Blessings abound...enjoy life!!!
