Zigomanis, Niki

It is with heavy heart and great sadness Niki Zigomanis passed away with family by her side on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Beloved wife of Athanasios Zigomanis. Loving mother to son Tom Zigomanis (wife Vicky Zigomanis), son John Zigomanis (wife Cindy Zigomanis) and daughter Martha Zigomanis Mintsopoulos (husband Dan Mintsopoulos). Loving grandmother to 6 beautiful grandchildren (some with families) and 1 great granddaughter. Niki also left her brother Steve Proskos (wife Irene Proskos and families), sister Sandra Kiris (and late husband Gary Kiris and families), and brother Mike Proskos (wife Menka Proskos and families). Daughter of the late Jim and Pela Gia Proskos. Niki courageously battled a rare disease called PSP, Progressive Supressive Supranuclear Palsy. She will be sadly missed and will no longer suffer.
Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave. (4 lights north of Hwy. 7) Markham, 905-305-8508 from 3 – 9 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2014. A funeral will be held in St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church, 11359 Warden Avenue (above Elgin Mills Road) on Friday at 10 am. Interment Elgin Mills Cemetery
