Yong Edwards, age 85 of Mineral Springs, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. She was born September 7, 1929.
She loved animals, especially her dogs, cats and feeding her deer in her back yard that would only come to her. She also was an avid bird watcher. She loved flowers and playing bingo. She loved to watch western movies, especially the ones with John Wayne.

2 brother-in-laws, Glen Edwards and wife Lucille of Mineral Springs, Tonk Edwards and wife Barbara of Texarkana. 1 sister-in-law, Mary Lou Shofner and husband Keith of Springhill, Louisiana.
Numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
Preceding her in death was other sister and brother-in-laws, Marion Edwards, Elaine Cowart, Buddy Edwards, Dorothy Nutt and Jamie Edwards. Also she was preceded by her parents.
Services will be Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 2 pm at Nashville Funeral Home with Steve Shofner officiating. Interment will follow in Bluff Springs Cemetery under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1 pm until service time.
