Condolence: Mrs. G has been such an inspiration. How we will miss her friendly smile and greeting at the pool this year. I remember her telling me, don't get out, you can swim more when I was ready to quit one day and so I swam extra laps and found she was right. Isn't that what she has done for many in this community.? Remind us we can do more than we thought, leading by example. We are truly blessed to have known her.
To the Walters and all her family, may God give you comfort and peace as so many good memories come to your mind.

Condolence: What a wonderful lady Mrs. G was. She was my teacher at Middletown and it was good to see her many many years later when I joined the Hummelstown pool. She was a strict lady but she did it in a most loving way that you had so much respect for her. She made an impact on my life in that regard and she will be missed by many. I just came home to PA from CT and learned of your mom's passing. I wanted you to know how sorry I am for your loss. Ruth was a great lady who loved her family and did so much for the community. Condolence: So sorry for your loss..... Ruth touched so many people's lives in such a positive way that it is unbelievable. I met her back in the early 60's when we had play days with Palmyra, Lower Dauphin and Middletown and then Mechanicsburg joined us later. What a fantastic lady, coach, teacher and long distant friend. These past few years my grand nieces got to know her thru the swim programs that she organized. She is out of sight but forever in our hearts. RIP, my friend!

Condolence: After joining the Hummelstown Swim Club several years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs."G," and hearing stories about her. She always had a smile for me and my children. In my mind, I thought what an incredible woman, in so many ways. My mother had Mr."G" as a health/phys.ed. teacher at John Harris High School. And, Doug Wohlfarth was the founder of the Hummelstown Swim team, so we had discussions about those connections. She made me smile and laugh with her stern, motherly, nature, as she rallied the troops of parents and children for different activities at the HSC. I always smiled and laughed, and she smiled back and gave me a wink! I will always remember her very fondly, and miss her presence at the pool in the years to come- it will not be the same, but her spirit will always be there, as she smiles down upon us in the rays of the sun. There will never be another Mrs. "G." God will enjoy her spirit, as she gives him her worldly advice and direction, from time to time. What a wonderful woman who influenced so many lives! My deepest condolences to all her family and friends through this difficult time. Celebrate her life in the days to come- she will certainly want that! God bless you Mrs. "G"

Condolence: As a member since 1972 and lifeguard for many years at the "swim club" Mrs. G played a HUGE roll in my life away from home. She always made sure I was doing well, my family was doing well, my life is going well and that overall I was "OK". She was a mom away from home that I'll NEVER FORGET!!
