Carold and I worked many a night shift together in Wawanesa and she would always bring me a surprise munchie to snack on in the wee hours of the night. She would travel in all kinds of weather and no snow storm would ever stop her from making it to work, I remember getting a ride home with her one early stormy morning and getting stuck in a snow bank, but when I thought we were done for what did Carold do but grab a shovel and start digging and off we went again. She was a tough lady and never gave up. It was a pleasure to know Carold may she rest in peace.
