ALLIN, Howard “Ross” – (Employee of Durham Growers Cold Storage for 18 years, Employee of H.C. Bonathan and RB Rickard Plumbing & Heating for 20 years, member of Oshawa Horseless Carriagemen since 1962 SPEBSQSA) – peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville with his daughter by his side on March 31st 2015 in his 94th year. Born in Newcastle to Howard and Gladys Allin on November 7th 1921. Beloved husband of Marion (nee:Foley) for nearly 67 years. Loving brother of Glenn (Jean), and the late June and Ruth. Cherished father of Gordon of Guelph, Marie and her husband Ross Brownlee of Guelph, and Calvin and his wife Wendy of Cobourg. Proud grandfather to Adrienne, Heather, Trevor, Scott, Quinlan, MacKenzie and six great-grandchildren. Ross’s presence will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call at NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S (just north of 401 at the lights) on Thursday April 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Newcastle United Church on Friday April 10th at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Feairs officiating. Interment will take place at Bowmanville Cemetery.
