Ruth Ann Ledall, 81, passed away May 11, 2015 in Canon City, CO. the daughter of Harvey E. and Margaret H. (Jones) Nelson, she was born April 22, 1934 in Greeley, CO.
Ruth Ann graduated from Ault High School in 1952 and the Colorado State College (UNC) in 1956. She was united in marriage to Herbert C. Ledall on August 19, 1962 in Eaton, CO. She was a member of D.A.R, the Eaton Torches, and the Colonial Dames. She was a very active member with the First Congregational Church in Eaton. Among her hobbies were reading, music, yoga, spending time with her friends, and cheering for the Broncos and Rockies. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Ruth Ann is survived by her children, Cindy (Joe) Lamanna, Charlotte (Brad) Smith, and Curt (Shelley) Ledall; grandchildren, Courtney and Maggie Lamanna, Allison and Annika Smith, and Madeline and Hannah Ledall; brother, Ed (Cheryl) Nelson, brother-in-law Vern Ledall of Eaton, and Sister-in-law Margie Ledall of Eaton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert in 2000; and her parents.
Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 15, 2015 at the First Congregational Church in Eaton, CO, with inurnment to follow at the Eaton Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Rocky Mountain Chapter, 2727 Bryant Street, Suite 380, Denver, CO 80211.
