Aileen May  Booth (Adams)
Aileen Booth (nee Adams) of Swan Lake, MB, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015, at the Lorne Memorial Health Centre in Swan Lake, MB at the age of 77 years.
Aileen was born November 14, 1937 in her parent’s farmhouse in the Norquay District, northeast of Swan Lake, MB. Aileen got her education at Norquay School, just ¾ of a mile from her home, then took grade 11 at Swan Lake High School.
Aileen leaves to mourn her passing her special niece & best friend Ardith (Bernie) Paquette, sisters-in-law Isabelle Adams, Dona (Keith) Smart, Kathy (Bill) Wood and Ellen (Stan) Korzenowski, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and great-great nieces & nephews, as well as many cousins and John’s relatives in Australia.
Aileen was predeceased by her beloved husband John (2000), parents Georgina (nee Gutscher) (1969) and William Adams (1982), brothers Ronald (1948) and Ken (2010), sister Grace (1972) and brother-in-law Alvin Yeo (1993), Mother & Father-in-law Ivy (2001) and Bill Booth (1969) and brother-in-law Ed Booth (1994).
Aileen did custom sewing all her life, taught sewing, as well as doing farm chores and housework, and she took care of both parents until their deaths.
Aileen married John Booth on November 9, 1985, and they made their home on John’s grandfather’s farm, doing some grain farming and raising black angus cattle.
Funeral service will be held in the Swan Lake United Church, Swan Lake, MB at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2015. Rev. Allison Halstead officiating. Interment to follow in the Swan Lake Cemetery.
