Condolences

Condolence From: Carol & Bill Davis
Condolence: We just heard this terrible news by reading it in the Kansas Alumni magazine, and we are in shock. Mike, Barb, and Clem - I'm sure you miss her terribly; she loved you all so much. As you know, we go WAY BACK - all the way back to KU Marching Band and KU Symphonic Band in the 1970s. I have many fond memories of the time spent with Brenda over the years, and I so appreciate that she took the initiative to keep in touch and even came to visit us several times in Colorado. We will treasure those memories always. Please know that we are thinking about you. Brenda - you were a special friend, a good person, and a truly gifted story teller - may you rest in peace.

Condolence: Dear Mike, Clem, and Barbara,
My heart goes out to you in the loss of your sister, Brenda, as well as to all her family members, and friends. I have held much admiration of Brenda throughout the years. Her integrity and character speaks volumns of what an amazing person she was; hard working, dedicated, and caring. I'm proud to be able to call her my friend. With our "family parallels", I feel that I have also lost a member of my own family. May peace be with you. John

Condolence: Dear family of Brenda,
I meant Brenda at a reenactment and had the pleasure of her company on 2-3 separate occasions. I have only known her a short time and it is my privilege to have meant her before the Lord called her home. Brenda was a lovely person and I will miss her company and happy smile. From what I have read about her she was truly a light that had shown in the dark. My God be with you in your great loss. In times of trouble God is with us, and when we are knocked down, we get up again. 2 Corinthians 4:9

Condolence: Brenda was such an amazing person. She was a wonderful CASA volunteer & has ALWAYS stuck by my side. Through these past 12 years that I've known her she was my family. She helped me with my kids & she was so amazing. I will miss her. She was Aunt Brenda to my 2 year old. My heart is broken that she left us. Brenda we love you & thank you for helping my family through so much. You are an amazing woman!

Condolence: I was so sorry to hear that Brenda had passed away. She was such a wonderful person, and learning about her CASA experiences, I have an even greater respect for her as a Catholic representative of our faith in action. Others have written of her volunteering in youth activities and helping out at Funeral Luncheons, and spending time in our Adoration Chapel. We will miss her at Mary, Queen of Angels Church. We have another angel in heaven now.

Condolence: I met and worked with Brenda through Johnson County old Settlers. She was so much fun, always laughing and being goofy. We were called trouble 1 and trouble 2 because we were always together getting into "trouble" but also getting our job done. What sticks out most was the time that we performed at our big dinner as the "Grange Pupetts" and her SMILE.... It was as big as the day is long. I will miss her dearly. I prey for you and all her friends in this time of sorrow.

Condolence: On behalf of St Anne's Altar Society, Mary Queen of Angels Church, Ft Scott, we want to express our love of Brenda to her family and friends. She did so much for our parish and community with such love and happiness. She was always giving her time in so many ways from her middle of the night adoration hours & also substituting for others, helping us serve and providing food for funeral dinners, cantor @ 8:00 am Sunday Mass, helping the youth with religion classes, CASA, Emergency Preparedness; these just a very few of the many ways she gave of herself to help others know, love and serve God. What a privilege to know her in this life. We look forward to her greeting us with a big hug in heaven! Our thoughts and prayers to all family and friends; Rest in Peace our dear friend :-)
