Obituary for
Maurice Marcel Perron
Perron, Maurice Marcel - With heavy hearts the family announces the death of Mr Maurice Perron at the age of 89 years. Mr Perron passed away peacefully at the Temiskaming Hospital in New Liskeard on November 21, 2015 with his loving family by his side.
Maurice was born March 22, 1926 to Ulric and Albertina Perron. He was the oldest of six children. He married Alice Loranger in Earlton on June 29, 1948. They owned a farm in Earlton for a few years before moving to North Cobalt. He worked in the mines for more than 25 years until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, snowmobiling, working in his sugar shack and playing his violin. His love of traveling brought him from coast to coast of our beautiful country many times.
Maurice was predeceased by his parents, his siblings: Jeanne d'Arc Ruddy and Romeo Perron and by his grandchild Daniel Charbonneau.
He is survived by his wife Alice, his children: Marielle [Ben] Mooy, Françoise [Pierre] Charbonneau, Robert [Aline St-Cyr] Perron, Roger [Judith Gosselin] Perron, Guy [Lucie Gervais] Perron, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and his siblings: Simone Fleury, Gérald and Yvon Perron and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the Doctors and Nursing Staff at Temiskaming Hospital for the loving care Maurice received. Thank you also to CCAC Staff for their caring support.
The Perron Family will receive family and friends at Holy Cross Catholic Church - Haileybury on Saturday, November 28, 2015 beginning at 10:00 am. Funeral mass will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Church Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00am. Father Alexis O'Lenga officiating. The funeral mass will be followed by a luncheon. Memorial contributions to Community Cancer Care will be gratefully acknowledged. No flowers please. Condolences, contributions and memorial candles may be left at www.buffamleveille.com.
