Dick and I were good friends in high school. After high school we each went in different directions and saw very little of each other. We have had the opportunity on several occasions since to meet by chance and talk briefly about what had happened during the in between
time and in the "good old days".

I just read today that Dick had passed away. I am very sorry for your loss.
