Obituary for William D "Bill" O'Brien III

William D. “Bill” O’Brien, 78, formerly of Snow Shoe, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte. Born on April 7, 1939, in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late William D. and Dorothy A. Kellander O’Brien II.
Bill attended the Snow Shoe High School. He attended the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Snow Shoe. He was a Master Carpenter, working for Home Depot and Lowes for a short time, but most of his life, he was self-employed, doing carpentry throughout Centre County.
Bill is survived by two daughters; Tammy L. O’Brien and Tracy O’Brien, and by one half brother, John A. O’Brien. Also surviving are two grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a half-brother, Frank O’Brien.
In accordance with Bill’s wished, all services will be private. He will be laid to rest at Askey Cemetery in Snow Shoe Twp.
