Janette was an amazing person. I remember an appointment my wife, Christine, and I had with her about 6 months ago. We were there to discuss my imminent retirement and she was extremely professional and warm-even though I didn't remember my password, nor did I bring the worksheet she had asked me to complete about a year ago.(I'm a bad client) Not only did she accommodate me by looking up the information and communicating it effectively, she even offered to help Christine in any way she could. What makes this remarkable is her cell phone rang about 5 times. She ignored the first 3 because she was with clients, but I told her it was fine if she checked because it could be important. She did check on the 5th call and I could see she was concerned. She asked if she could have a minute to call her doctor back. We both said she should take all the time she needed, so she left the room briefly to call her doctor back. After only a few minutes she re-entered the room looking clearly distressed, but she quickly composed herself and continued our meeting. I asked if she was ok and offered to re-schedule the meeting, but she declined saying she appreciated the time and effort it took for us to come. I can only speculate, but I have to think she got some really bad news, but refused to let that from being of service. What can I say about that? What a wonderful person. I only wish I had gotten to know her better. She will be missed!!!
