Obituary for Clark G. Lawson

Clark G.  Lawson
Clark G. Lawson, 84, of Paint Lick, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. He was born in Fayette County on July 18, 1932 to Hugh Samuel and China Cruse Lawson. He had been a security guard at the Blue Grass Army Depot and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Clark was past-president of the Central Kentucky Coon Hunters Sportsman’s Society and a member of the Apostolic Church in Jesus’ Name.
Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Samuel and China Cruse Lawson; two brothers, Hugh Sam Lawson and Michael Ray Lawson; and the mother of his children, Shirley Lawson.
He is survived by his wife, Lula Carroll Lawson; daughter, Sherry (David) Brown; son, Anthony (Karen) Lawson; step-daughters, Debbie (Dutch) Moore and Donna (Bud) Croucher ; three sisters: Mary Burge, Betty Carter, and Lenora Whalen; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Clark G. Lawson will be Monday, September 19, 2016 at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. John Gross and Rev. Glenn Whittemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Blue Grass Memorial Gardens in Nicholasville. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Pallbearers will be Anthony Norton, Rob Feeback, David Brown, Marcus McDaniels, Eric Whittemore, and Brian Best. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice Care Plus.
