Fellowship

On a Friday a few months ago, a young fellow with a pair of bright eyes talked to me at Pughs Cement in Killarney. He was interested in being associated with me in a certain group of kindred spirits thst usually hang out on Friday evenings upstairsthere at Pughs. A look at his spirited face that evening convinced me that he was someone I was excited to know better. Over the next months I shared rides to Glenboro and Killarney with Kylie, had some good chats and generally did get to know him. I am glad I shared a part of Kylie's life; it was a short while but a good while! He was a bright spirit full of life; also a bit of a 'smart alec' which I totally appreciated since I am one myself. I don't think a person could get away with being phony with Kylie. He had seen enough life to recognize what was honest in people. It is sad to say goodbye so suddenly. It seems such a waste but I can't know why life begins or ends. May God's peace surround him now. I am glad I knew him. I want to send love to his family.
