Condolence: One of my great pleasures in recent years was to greet Sylvester at the Mineral Springs High School office when I delivered newspapers on Wednesday mornings. He was unfailingly cheerful and obviously loved the school, staff and students. We are poorer today for having lost him. He was just a fine, fine gentleman. Peace to his family, and thanks to the Almighty for putting such people among us.
