Marjorie J.  Rosier
Marjorie J. Rosier, of Savage Rd., Sardinia, passed away peacefully on Friday October 7, 2016 at the age of 80.

She was born November 4, 1935 in Buffalo a daughter of the late Frank C. and Marion E. (nee Haas) Potter. She was Secretary for Pant-Ease Knitting Co. in Arcade and then worked for the New York State Quality Milk Program in Sardinia, Springville and finally Geneseo spanning a total of 20 years.

She was a member of the Sardinia United Methodist Church and its' United Methodist Women's Group. She was one of the founding members and secretary for 30+ years for the Sardinia Snowmobile Club AKA Pioneer Snowsurfers Club and a member of the Chaffee-Sardinia Firemen's Auxiliary. She was the Sardinia Area American Red Cross blood service coordinator for 29+ years. She babysat for numerous generations of family, friends and neighbors. She enjoyed bowling at the Arcade Lanes and Holland Willows, but, her greatest hobby was visiting family and friends.

She is survived by her husband - Charles Rosier whom she married April 26, 1958 in Arcade; two sons - John (Bobbie Jean) Rosier of Springville and Todd (Karen) Rosier of Hillsboro, OR; two granddaughters - Kendall and Kirsten Rosier; brothers-in-law - Kenneth Armstrong of Arcade, Robert (Grace) Rosier of Sardinia, Roland Rosier of Florida and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son - Brian Rosier; two sisters - Joyce Armstrong and Barbara Lingenfelter and two sisters-in-law - Adaline Hamblin and Margaret Rosier.

Friends may call Tuesday October 11, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at W. S. Davis Funeral Home, Inc., 358 W. Main St., Arcade. Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 12, 2016 at 11 am in the Sardinia United Methodist Church, 12369 Savage Rd., Sardinia.

Burial will be in Sardinia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Chaffee-Sardinia Fire Department, PO Box 203, Chaffee, 14030 or to the Sardinia United Methodist Church.
