Kurt Allen  Nyberg
Kurt Allen Nyberg, 56, of North Huntingdon a loving father and husband passed away in his sleep Tuesday November 1, 2016 at his home. He was born March 11, 1960 in Pittsburgh a son of Donald Nyberg, of North Huntingdon and the late Joan (Johnson) Nyberg. In addition to his father he is survived by his ex-wife Sandra (Nabuda) Nyberg, of Irwin; two daughters Emily Nyberg and her boyfriend, Joe Nicholson, of Connellsville, Anna Nyberg and her boyfriend, Keith Miller, of Trafford; a grandson Wesley Miller; brother Kerry Nyberg, of Ft. Myers Fla.; nieces Kasey and Stacey Nyberg, of Ft. Myers, Fla.; nephew Kerry Nyberg Jr., of Maryville, TN.; mother-in-law Patricia (Nabuda) Shafer and her husband, Robert, of Irwin; sisters-in-law Deborah Kunkle and her husband, Karl, of Irwin, Patricia Kopa and her husband, Michael, of N.C.; best friend Shane VanWhy and family, of Apollo; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was a dear friend of Dr. Bob. Prior to his retirement in 2015 he was employed at the Western Westmoreland Municipal Authority in Larimer for 17 years. Kurt loved to hunt, fish and spending time at his camp in Sigel, Pa. and enjoyed traveling. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. A funeral service will be held Saturday at noon in the home chapel. The family requests in lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to your favorite charity.
