The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alma Clark Splaine can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Mark and Carol Leslie
Condolence: Kathleen and Robert Leslie ( my in laws ) lived next door to Alma many years ago on School Street, approx. 60 years ago. Alma and Kathleen remained very good friends up until her death in 2003. They shared a love of sewing, needlepoint, quilting, knitting...Alma was second to none in these arts. A perfectionist but not haughty- she simply enjoyed what she did. We still have the Christmas mouse that Alma made for my deceased in-laws which will have a place of honor on our mantle this season, as we remember her fondly as a true friend of our mother.
