Mr. David Herschel Price, 75, of Albany passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 26, 2016 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. David Pace will officiate with interment to follow at Floral Memory Gardens.
Born January 7, 1941 in Moultrie, Mr. Price was the son of the late Russell and Jossie Meads Price. Mr. Price retired from the Marine Corps Logistics Base, in Albany, in which he worked in Heating and Air. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Mr. Price was a member of Mercedes Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Price was preceded in death by his sister, Bernice Poole.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Butler Price of Albany; children, Rusty Price (Lanita) of Lake Seminole, Tony Price (Theresa) of Kempner, TX, Lori Shiver (Jerry) of Tifton and Alan Price (Petra) of Stafford, VA; brothers, T.C. Price (Jenny) of Coco FL., Sammy Price (Joleen) of Albany, Terry Price (Debra) of Albany, Daniel Price (Jody) of Albany; sisters, Jeanette Gollen of Dawson, Nita Farmer of Lake City, FL., Dorothy Pollock of Pelham and Yvonne Turner of Albany; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the funeral service.
