Obituary for Juliette Marie Lussier (Faucher)

Juliette Marie  Lussier (Faucher)
It is with great sadness that the family of Juliette Lussier announces the passing of their Mother & Memeré / Grandmother at the Baldur Personal Care Home on Thursday November 24,2016 at the age of 94 years.

Juliette was born in Swan Lake MB on October 18,1922 to Ephrem Faucher & Marie Plante & was the youngest of ten children.

Juliette was predeceased by her husband Alexander Lussier on June 2,1998 and were married for 54 years. Mom is survived by her ten children; Jeannette & Roger Hardy of Winnipeg, Hubert & Kay Lussier of Maple Ridge, B.C., Robert & Joyce Lussier of Kelowna, B.C., Rita Levreault of Winnipeg, Jerry & Myrna Lussier of Drayton Valley, AB, Diane & Remi Labossiere Winnipeg, Lorette & Bob Kippen of Airdrie , AB, Doris Weigel & Vic Seerup of Winnipeg, Norbert & Brenda Lussier of Belmont and Paul & Deana Lussier of Whitecourt, AB.

Juliette also leaves to mourn her passing: 26 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild plus their spouses and partners. Also mourning Juliette’s passing is sister-in-law Henriette Benjamin and brothers-in-law Albert & Andy Lussier also numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Juliette was also predeceased by sons-in-laws Gabe Joyal, Herb Weigel, Murray Levreault and daughter-in-law Alvina Lussier.

Juliette was known for her excellent cooking and sewing skills…She could also give you a great haircut if it was needed. If you were ever in her home she always had food on the table, no one ever went hungry. Her favorite phrase was “have some more…have some more".

Juliette was an excellent seamstress and made everything from Grad or Wedding dresses to Maternity outfits to mending your blue jeans with a sunshine on your back pocket. Always with a sense of humor Juliette enjoyed people in general and was a Social Butterfly.

Juliette loved music& could be seen “dancing with her walker”, keeping beat with quarters or spoons & playing the Harmonica. “Heel, Toe Polka “seemed to be her favorite.

The Family wishes to sincerely thank all the Staff at the Baldur Manor for looking after Mom with Humor, Love & Respect which she so deserved & appreciated.

Prayers will be held on Sunday December 4, 2016 at 7:30 pm in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro MB.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be take place in the St. James Catholic Church, Baldur MB, on Monday December 5, 2016 at 11:00 am with Father Phillip Malayil as Celebrant.
Burial will follow at the Glenboro Cemetery and a lunch and time of fellowship will take place at the Glenboro Kinsmen Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Juliette's memory to a charity of one's choice.
