I was heartbroken when I learned of Tim's passing. I was in Tim's pledge class and also rowed with him for 4 years at Marietta. Tim was a free spirit and a gentle soul and will be missed by many.

Condolence: Dear Grubert family,
I was deeply saddened to learn of Tim's passing. Tim and I rowed together at Marietta College and we shared many fun times during our years at MC. Tim was a one of a kind guy and all of us who spent time with him on the Crew team and on campus are better people for having had Tim touch our lives. I had not kept touch with Tim after graduation for many years, but through the wonders of Facebook I had reconnected with him a couple years back and learned he was still that same adventurous guy I knew from college - living life his way - still in tune with and loving nature.
