Kathleen J. Longacre passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at her beloved home.

Born in Camden, she resided in Royersford, PA before moving to Homestead two years ago.

Kathleen was employed as the Accounts Payable Lead Controller / Manager for PJM located in Norristown, PA. She retired in March 2013 after years of dedicated service.

After high school and becoming a doting mother she entered the accounting field at the A&P where she met her future husband, Charles. After working for several prestigious firms she earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Accounting from the University of Phoenix in June 2006.

Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her children, especially her grandson. She also enjoyed playing pinochle with friends, sewing and crafts, baking, reading, shopping, as well as going to Myrtle Beach and Cape May.

Daughter of the late Irwin and Martha Joyce she is predeceased by her husband, Charles “Chick” Longacre and her son, Richard Sheets.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Teri and Blaze Pecenak, her grandson whom she adored, Aiden, her sisters Diane Jasko and Maureen Young, her brother David and his wife Denise Joyce, her nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in Kathleen’s name to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

At the request of the family memorial services will be held at a later date.
