Obituary for Janet L. Brown (Dietzel)
Janet L. (Dietzel) Brown, 91, of Chambersburg passed away on December 18, 2016 in Hershey Medical Center. She was born August 23, 1925 in Chambersburg Pennsylvania the daughter of the late George and Rose Ellen (Snyder) Dietzel. Janet attended Chambersburg Schools, was a member of the Harbor Light Church, the American Legion Auxiliary Post #46, Landis McCleaf Marine Corps Auxiliary, and Charles Nitterhouse Post #1599 VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo but she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and the time she spent with family.
Surviving are her daughter, Jaylene (wife of Lynn) Gsell of Zullinger ; two sons: Thomas R. and Robert A. Brown both of Chambersurg; two grandchildren: Melinda (wife of Steve) Ralston of Waynesboro, Steven (wife, Kerri) Gsell; two great grandchildren Eli and Ivy Gsell. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Douglas, and her second husband, Ray Brown and a son, Stephen Douglas. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the William F. Sellers Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Ficks officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Parkland Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be expressed at www.sellersfunealhome.com
