Condolence: I am Yvonne's cousin (Alphonse Mestdagh's daughter). Yvonne was a very special lady who somehow took me "under her wing". She would phone me every few months to see how I was doing and Norman and Yvonne would always bring Uncle Marcel to visit when he was in the city.
I went to visit Yvonne shortly after her stroke and I was so impressed with her strength and that she still had her dry sense of humour.
My deepest condolences on the loss of such a wonderful, strong woman.

Condolence: Aunty Yvonne has passed and we are so sad for Norman, David, and Donald and families. However everything remains the same, the life that we lived and enjoyed so fondly with Yvonne is still untouched, unchanged. Whoever we were to Yvonne, we still are, whoever Yvonne was to us, she still is. Laugh as you always did, at the little jokes you had with one another. Aunty Yvonne is out of sight now, but she will never be out of our minds. She is just waiting for us, somwhere very near, perhaps just around the next corner, somewhere very nearUntill we meet again rest in peace
