Farming was Dave's passion. He grew up involved in 4-H and FFA. He was very proud of specifically winning Nebraska FFA State Star Farmer, 4-H National Agriculture winner, and earning his FFA American Farmer degree. Dave's roots ran deep in the purebred Swine industry and passed his passion for the show ring on to his daughter. As Dave grew older he developed a passion for row crop production which he enjoyed farming along side his sons Matt and Daniel. When Dave wasn't in the field you would find him turning wrenches in the shop or cruising down the highway on his Harley motorcycle. He always made it a priority to give back to his neighbors and to youth in agriculture, specifically through the county fair. Dave spent many years as a 4-H leader and served on the county 4-H council giving back in the best way he knew how.
He is survived by Daughter Krystl Knabe (Cody Knopp) Sons Matt Knabe (Jerica Collins), Daniel (Kayla) Knabe and Dustin (Natasha) Knabe; Parents John and Maxine Knabe, sister Susan Knabe (Russ Rains) Four Grandchildren Avalee, David, Ellyanna and Declan. many other family members and friends.
