Obituary for Alice N. Struzyk (Deal)

Seneca Falls – Alice (Deal) Struzyk, 90, of Boston Ave., Seneca Falls, NY, passed away at Huntington Living Center, Saturday, January 21, 2017.

In Keeping with Alice’s wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A graveside service will be held at Spring Brook Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY at the convenience of the family.
Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Alice was born in Seneca Falls, NY, on July 8, 1926, the daughter of the late Lester and Mildred (Kuney) Deal. She was a life resident of Seneca Falls where she married Joseph Struzyk on August 17, 1946. Alice was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Seneca Falls.
In her early years, Alice was employed by P&C Food Market of Seneca Falls, & enjoyed helping
her brother Lloyd at his Save-A-Lot stores in Bath & Waterloo, NY.
Alice was a 50+ years member and past president of the Kirk-Casey Post #366 American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a member of Lt. Cyrus Garnsey Post #1323 VFW Auxiliary of Seneca Falls.

In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting. She enjoyed writing letters and had Pen Pals all over the world. Alice also enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, and enjoyed doing private catering. Her family always came first, and she will be deeply missed by all.

She is survived by:

Crystal Struzyk
5 – Great Grandchildren – Hunter, Owen, Ashley, Morgan and Gianna

Several nieces,nephews & cousins.

Besides her parents, Alice was pre-deceased by her husband , Joseph Struzyk, who passed away on September 5, 2000;
2 – Brothers – Byrum Deal, who passed away on April 9, 2012 and Justin Deal who passed away on February 5, 2010
